The Food Industry Alliance (FIA) of New York State is a retail, wholesale and manufacturer/supplier trade association primarily representing the interests of New York State’s food stores. FIA’s 850 corporate members include the full scope of food distribution --- ranging from large supermarket chains to independent grocers, convenience stores, bodegas, food co-ops and wholesalers as well as grocery manufacturers and suppliers to the industry.
FIA’s stated purpose is two-fold --- to protect and advance the agenda of the grocery industry before state and local government and to serve as a networking catalyst for its retail, wholesale and supplier members to conduct business more effectively and efficiently.
