What is your primary product or service?

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I had been a pack rat. I de-cluttered and downsized my life, moving from a 10-room house with attic, basement and garage to a 6-room condominium with no attic, basement nor garage. After I left the practice of law, I decided to help others de-clutter and/or downsize their lives and reap the benefits. Because I've been through the process myself, I know what works and what doesn't work. I love talking about my experiences and motivating students/clients to de-clutter, de-stress® their lives.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
1. I'm the premiere professional organizer in the Capital District of NY. I was the first and therefore the most experienced professional organizer in the area. 2. I was a pack rat who de-cluttered/downsized my life. Other PO's don't have this personal experience. 3. I practice what I teach. I'm still de-cluttering. I now live in a 2-bedroom apartment and am on a waiting list for a one-bedroom apartment. 4. I'm a retired lawyer with experience dealing with complex issues and understand the need for confidentiality when working with clients. 5. I am educated as a teacher and have taught K-12 up to Master Degree students. My speeches and workshops are practical, motivational and come from training and experience.
